Cruciferous veggies sound prehistoric. They’re also powerful! These sometimes-spicy, often bitter-tasting dark greens are rich in folate, vitamin C, vitamin K, and fiber—making ’em good for ya whether you’re pregnant or not. Our faves include: arugula, bok choy, broccoli, Brussels sprouts, cabbage, cauliflower, collard greens, and kale. Eat up, Mama!
