Key

C = cup

Ingredients

LACTATION HERBAL BLEND

  • ½ C dried dandelion leaf

  • ½ C dried nettle leaf

  • ½ C dried fenugreek seeds

  • ½ C dried oatstraw

  • ½ C dried chamomile

  • ¼ C dried anise seeds

Directions

  1. In a large bowl, mix together ½ cup of dried dandelion leaf, ½ cup of dried nettle leaf, ½ cup of dried fenugreek seed, ½ cup of dried oatstraw, ½ cup of dried chamomile, ¼ cup of dried anise seed.

  2. Transfer to a glass jar for storage.

  3. This blend can be prepared as a tea, but we prefer it as an infusion.

  4. For a tea: steep 1-2 tablespoons of the dried herbal blend in 8-10 ounces of boiling water. Let steep for 10 minutes, then strain.

  5. For an infusion: Place a handful of the dried herbal blend in a quart jar. Pour boiling water over the herbs. Cover and steep for an hour or overnight; then strain. Sip on the quart all day long to add nutrients to your hydration game.

  6. Drink up, Mama!
